Data Governance Lead

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Remote but preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with data domain owners to identify, document, and prioritize key initiatives in the data governance backlog.
  • Work closely with architects, domain owners, and other stakeholders to align on data governance practices.
  • Ensure successful implementation of data governance initiatives by coordinating with delivery teams.
  • Define, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • Lead and facilitate data governance forums and working groups.
  • Conduct hands-on data analysis and produce comprehensive documentation.
  • Document and publish success stories and case studies to promote data governance achievements.
  • Act as a product owner for data governance tools and platforms, managing requirements and roadmaps.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience working with data domain owners, architects, and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in leading forums and publishing success stories.
