The HRIS Manager will lead the Workday platform and an in-house HRIS team, owning system configuration, governance, releases, and integration oversight. This role blends hands-on Workday expertise with people leadership, shaping how Workday supports both business and employee experience, while building a high-performing team across regions (currently US and India). RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own Workday across Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation & Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking & Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, and Performance Management.
  • Lead Business Process Framework design and Workday security (roles, domains, segregation of duties).
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or high-impact HRIS issues, and serve as a point person for our partner support agency.
  • Manage Workday bi-annual releases including impact review, regression testing, UAT, and deployment.
  • Oversee integrations and vendor interfaces; partner with technical and functional teams for stability.
  • Lead and develop the in-house HRIS team; manage intake, prioritization, and delivery cadence in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Build strong relationships and partner with other HR stakeholders, Payroll, and IT on system strategy and optimization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 8+ years HRIS experience; 5+ years hands-on Workday.
  • Experience leading an in-house HRIS team.
  • Deep expertise in at least three of the following modules, with intermediate-level experience in all: Core HCM, Security, Business Processes, Benefits, Compensation/Advanced Comp, Time & Absence, Talent, Recruiting.
  • Experience with Greenhouse connections for ATS
  • Proven ownership of testing, releases, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with optimizing workflows in HRIS systems via AI/automations
  • Workday certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting 3,000+ employee companies is preferred but not required
  • Post-implementation optimization experience is preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $130,000 to $145,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager's discretion.
