The role provides executive oversight of the people, systems, infrastructure, applications, policies, external partnerships, and technology consulting practice that enable American Structurepoint's multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, planning, and consulting services.

- Develop and execute an enterprise technology strategy aligned with business goals, growth, operational performance, and client service.
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments, cybersecurity, digital transformation, data, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
- Establish a multi-year technology roadmap with clear priorities, budgets, timelines, risks, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead technology governance and participate in strategic planning, acquisitions, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Oversee infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, hardware, software, telecommunications, collaboration platforms, and IT support.
- Ensure technology systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and responsive to employees across all locations.
- Direct business continuity, disaster recovery, data backup, system availability, and incident-response planning.
- Manage technology standards, vendors, consultants, contracts, licensing, and service-level performance.
- Lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, including risk assessment, access management, threat prevention, monitoring, incident response, and employee awareness.
- Establish policies and controls that protect company, employee, client, and project information.
- Maintain alignment with applicable frameworks and requirements, including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CMMC, and Zero Trust principles.
- Partner with Legal, Risk Management, Human Resources, and business leaders on privacy, regulatory, contractual, government, and cyber-insurance requirements.
- Regularly report the company’s cybersecurity posture, vulnerabilities, mitigation efforts, and risk exposure to executive leadership.
- Oversee the strategy, governance, integration, optimization, and lifecycle of enterprise applications and specialized AEC technologies.
- Partner with business leaders to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, improve system adoption, and increase efficiency.
- Guide digital transformation initiatives that improve employee experience, project delivery, decision-making, quality, and client service.
- Ensure technology implementations include effective change management, communication, training, and adoption plans.
- Establish an enterprise data strategy covering quality, ownership, accessibility, security, consistency, retention, and appropriate use.
- Expand business intelligence, executive reporting, dashboards, analytics, and KPI capabilities.
- Lead the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence through governance, policies, controls, training, risk assessment, and approved use cases.
- Identify high-value opportunities for analytics, automation, and AI while protecting confidential information.
- Provide executive oversight of the Technology Solutions Group as a revenue-generating IT consulting practice.
- Establish objectives for revenue growth, profitability, utilization, backlog, client service, delivery performance, and market positioning.
- Partner with operations, business development, and practice leaders to develop services, identify opportunities, and support proposals.
- Monitor financial and operational performance, project quality, client satisfaction, pipeline, and resource capacity.
- Guide staffing, recruiting, skills development, and resource planning while maintaining alignment with enterprise technology and security standards.
- Develop and manage enterprise technology operating and capital budgets.
- Oversee Technology Solutions Group revenue, profitability, pricing, utilization, margins, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate investments based on business value, total cost of ownership, operational impact, cybersecurity risk, and expected return.
- Maintain a prioritized portfolio of technology initiatives and report on status, cost, risk, benefits, and outcomes.
- Optimize technology spending through vendor management, system consolidation, contract improvements, and technical-debt reduction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technology leaders and their teams.
- Establish clear roles, goals, accountability, succession plans, workforce plans, and professional-development opportunities.
- Foster a service-oriented culture centered on collaboration, responsiveness, transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with operational leaders and employees to understand needs and improve the technology experience.
- Determine the appropriate mix of internal expertise, centralized resources, external partners, managed services, and consultants.
- Monitor technology and workforce trends affecting the AEC and professional-services industries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
