Pilatus is hiring a Quality Engineer Supply Chain to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding and enhancing the quality of supplies from North American suppliers, in line with Pilatus contractual agreements. This role is pivotal in auditing suppliers, monitoring and resolving quality issues, and implementing strategies to boost supplier performance to support production and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Supplier Quality and Performance Management

  • Conducts thorough audits and periodic reviews of supplier operations to ensure compliance with Pilatus standards
  • Actively monitors, analyzes, and resolves supplier quality issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions
  • Manages risk assessments and evaluations of supplier capabilities to anticipate and mitigate potential issues
  • Approves and renews qualifications for aerospace suppliers, maintaining Pilatus standards

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develops and sustains strong, productive relationships with suppliers to enhance communication and collaboration
  • Facilitates ongoing supplier development tasks and supports suppliers in achieving compliance with Pilatus quality requirements
  • Provides support and direction in the approval of new aerospace suppliers for FAA CFR Part 21, 145, AS9100 norm and EASA Part-21 regulations

Strategic and Operational Support

  • Implements supply chain strategies, contributes to process improvements, and participates in special projects to optimize operations
Requirements:

Skills/Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent training and experience
  • 5 years of experience in the aircraft industry, preferably within supplier quality management
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally (~40%), at times on short notice
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of interacting effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The salary range for this position is $72,685 - $98,125 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
