Job description

About Eagle Infrastructure Services
Eagle Infrastructure Services is a diversified holding company with subsidiaries serving clients across the oil and gas, renewable energy, power transmission, and large-scale civil construction and development sectors. Eagle provides services throughout the continental United States with its main offices in Houston, Longview, Denver, Austin and Michigan along with field-based support offices. Eagle's subsidiaries include Applied Consultants, Inc., Encompass Services, LLC and Perennial Environmental, LLC.
Position Overview
Eagle is seeking a self-directed, experienced Contracts Analyst to be responsible for its contract review process from end to end.
The Contracts Analyst reports directly to the General Counsel and serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day commercial contracting across Eagle's business units. The Contracts Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, revising, negotiating, and finalizing contracts in a fast-paced and efficient manner while identifying commercial risks for the internal commercial customer base.
This position is fully remote. The Contracts Analyst will be expected to work independently, prioritize effectively, and provide practical, business-oriented guidance-not just legal issue-spotting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review, revise and negotiate the legal terms in commercial agreements, including MSAs, professional services agreements, O&M contracts, PPAs, subcontractor and vendor agreements as well as confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements.
  • Provide clear, concise summaries of key commercial terms and risks for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage contracts from intake through execution, including tracking revisions and managing status through completion.
  • Maintain and improve contract templates, clause libraries/contract playbook, and contract tracking systems.
  • Support the General Counsel on more complex matters by organizing issues and preparing draft positions or alternate legal terms.
  • Partner with Eagle's project management, procurement, and finance teams to keep opportunities moving while protecting the company's interests.
  • Identify and track post-execution obligations to support compliance and avoid missed deliverables.

Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience reviewing, revising, negotiating and tracking commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity with contracts in energy, oil and gas, renewables, power, EPC, or construction environments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core contract legal terms, including indemnification, service warranties, limitation of liability, liquidated damages, insurance, force majeure, default, and termination clauses.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain legal issues in plain, practical terms and offer negotiated legal language that accomplishes the goals of all parties.
  • Organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with limited oversight.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and lead negotiations with key customers, balancing the need to negotiate the contract terms while retaining a positive relationship with the customer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word (track changes), Excel, standard e-signature platforms, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Beneficial for the position
  • Paralegal certificate or degree in Legal Studies, Contract Management, Business, or similar field. A JD is a highly desirable qualification.
  • NCMA certification (or interest in pursuing it).
  • Exposure to FIDIC, NEC4, AIA, or AGC contract forms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FERC, NERC, or state public utility commissions.

Location
This position is fully remote. The Contracts Analyst will be required to work standard business hours, 8:30 - 5 pm in the central time zone but may work from any remote office in the United States. This position is full-time exempt.
