TITLE: COMPLIANCE & CONTRACTS ANALYST

COMPENSATION: Up to $80,000

LOCATION: South San Antonio, City Base Area

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO AS THE CONTRACTS & COMPLIANCE ANALYST

  • Own compliance calendar and documentation for leases, bonds, and contracts, mitigating litigation risk and optimizing revenue recognition
  • Extract key terms, deadlines, and deliverables from high-volume, technical legal and finance documents (leases, bond agreements, compliance contracts)
  • Coordinate with internal accounting, finance, and operational teams to ensure all external and regulatory requirements are met
  • Coordination and ownership of compliance-related reporting to city authorities, board, and bondholders
  • Reconcile lease and contractual obligations with accounting, tracking critical financial, staffing, and operational triggers
  • Prepare packages for review by executive management and external stakeholders (city, bondholders, audit, tenants)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Financial Oversight - Accuracy and timeliness in managing compliance obligations, lease/contractual terms, and reporting deadlines.
  • Risk Mitigation - Proactive identification and tracking of obligations to keep the organization clear of litigation and financial risk.
  • Process Improvement - Implement and maintain compliance calendars, reconcile contractual requirements, and coordinate with Internal & External Stakeholders for information gathering.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience with Contracts Management, Compliance Coordination, or Paralegal Work in a Development, Municipal, Higher Education, State, or similar Government Contract related setting
  • Advanced attention to detail, organization, and proven ability to work independently with highly repetitive, technical documentation
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional communications
