Job Summary
Tate’s Building Supply is seeking a hungry, organized sales professional with established relationships in the building industry. This senior-level role is responsible for growing contractor accounts, developing new business, and managing a strong sales pipeline with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Leverage existing relationships with contractors, builders, and remodelers 
  •  Develop and execute a territory growth plan 
  •  Win new accounts and expand existing customer relationships 
  •  Manage prospects, quotes, follow-ups, and upcoming projects 
  •  Prepare estimates and recommend building material solutions 
  •  Negotiate pricing while protecting margins 
  •  Track sales activity, pipeline, and expected revenue 
  •  Coordinate with the internal team to ensure strong customer service 
Qualifications
  •  Proven outside sales success in building materials, construction, or a related industry 
  •  Established contractor and builder relationships 
  •  Strong organization, follow-through, and pipeline management skills 
  •  Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently 
  •  Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills 
  •  Knowledge of lumber, hardware, and building supplies preferred
