We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Lincoln, DE location. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse. This role includes order fulfillment, inventory management, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Receiving and Inventory Management:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies.
  • Accurately label, categorize, and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.


Order Fulfillment:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track order status and inventory levels.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe handling of products.


Warehouse Maintenance:

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures to minimize risks and accidents.
  • Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.


Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers regarding inventory levels, order status, and any challenges encountered.
  • Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures and best practices.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing warehouse operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations across the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery, with certification preferred.
  • Good verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods during the workday. Manual dexterity for using standard warehouse equipment and tools. Visual and auditory ability to perform essential functions, including monitoring inventory and communicating with team members. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Works in various warehouse conditions, including temperature variations.
