Job description

General Job Description
We are actively hiring Electrical Helpers for our team in the Frankford, DE area and are looking for dependable individuals who are ready to start quickly.
This is a great opportunity to learn the electrical trade, gain hands-on field experience, and grow your career in the electrical industry. You'll work alongside experienced electricians while helping complete residential electrical installations and supporting the field crew.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As an Electrical Helper, you will:
  • Assist in house rough-in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
  • Install trim components such as plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches
  • Carry materials and tools to support the leadman and crew
  • Clean and maintain the work area and equipment
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with the leadman and team members
  • Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to management when needed
  • Follow company safety policies and promptly report hazards
  • Take direction effectively and contribute to a productive team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Preferred: Electrical experience and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Preferred: Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical layouts

Physical Requirements
This role is physically active and requires the ability to:
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb throughout the workday

  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Work at heights using ladders and lifts on multi-story residential construction sites
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties
  • Maintain consistent attendance and stamina for full work shifts

  • Work is performed on active residential construction sites
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, and noise
  • Job sites may involve unfinished structures, ladders, and uneven terrain
