Residential HVAC Apprentice Job Description

Always Comfy LLC is a growing, family-friendly residential HVAC company serving Central New Jersey (Middlesex, Somerset, Union, and Monmouth counties). We're known for premium installations, great customer service, and a team culture that actually supports your growth. We're looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice who's ready to learn the trade and grow into a skilled installer or service technician.

What You'll Do
  • Assist senior installers and technicians with residential HVAC installs, tune-ups, and repairs

  • Learn how to install and service furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and ductless systems

  • Help load/unload equipment, prep job sites, and organize materials

  • Keep tools, equipment, and work vehicles clean and well-maintained

  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures

  • Provide friendly, respectful customer service

  • Develop technical skills through hands-on training and mentorship

What We're Looking For
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Mechanical aptitude or interest in the HVAC trade

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • EPA 608 certification is a plus (but not required)

  • No experience required we will train the right person
