This is a field-based account management and operations role with two primary objectives:

·       Retain existing janitorial clients by delivering excellent service and strong client relationships

·       Grow revenue by identifying, selling, and managing additional City Wide facility solutions

You will operate your portfolio much like your own book of business. You will spend much of your time at client facilities building relationships, inspecting service quality, resolving issues, managing service providers, identifying additional needs, and ensuring City Wide consistently delivers on its commitments.

Your income grows with your results through uncapped commission tied directly to account retention and growth. High-performing FSMs may also have opportunities to advance into broader operational leadership, including Director of Operations.

What You Can Expect

·       $50,000–$55,000 guaranteed base salary

·       Uncapped commission tied to account retention and growth

·       Expected first-year total earnings of $85,000–$100,000

·       A defined client portfolio with meaningful autonomy and accountability

·       National brand and established local operational support

·       CRM, billing, accounting, contractor, and administrative support

·       Opportunity to build long-term client relationships rather than focus primarily on cold prospecting

·       Career-development opportunities for high-performing managers

What You’ll OwnClient Relationships & Retention

·       Own the day-to-day relationship and service performance for an assigned portfolio of commercial janitorial clients, with primary responsibility for client satisfaction and retention.

·       Build strong relationships with client decision-makers, understand expectations, maintain consistent communication, and conduct regular client visits.

·       Conduct quality-control inspections, identify deficiencies, coordinate corrective action with Independent Contractors and Night Managers, and verify issues are resolved.

·       Manage Independent Contractor performance, including service quality, compliance, coverage, pricing within company guidelines, and replacement when necessary.

·       Help lead successful new-account starts by coordinating contractors, supplies, access, service schedules, client expectations, and follow-up inspections.

·       Maintain accurate client information, inspections, service issues, and follow-up activity in City Wide’s CRM.

·       Proactively identify and resolve service concerns before they put the client relationship at risk.

Portfolio Growth

·       Grow revenue within your existing client portfolio by identifying facility needs and introducing additional City Wide facility solutions and Other Services.

·       Develop a strong understanding of each client’s facility to identify opportunities for services such as floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing, landscaping, parking lot services, and other facility-maintenance solutions.

·       Manage the sales process for additional services, including identifying the opportunity, developing the solution, coordinating pricing within company guidelines, presenting the service to the client, and closing the opportunity.

·       Manage the execution of sold services by coordinating vendors or Independent Contractors, schedules, client expectations, quality control, and follow-up.

·       Build recurring and project-based revenue by becoming the client’s trusted resource for facility-maintenance needs beyond janitorial service.

·       Take ownership of the retention, revenue growth, and overall performance of your assigned portfolio.

How Success Is Measured

Success in this role is measured through clear business results, including:

·       Client retention

·       Portfolio revenue growth

·       Other Services and additional-service revenue

·       Client satisfaction

·       Client visits and quality-control inspections

·       Independent Contractor performance and service stability

·       Successful new-account starts

·       Timely follow-through and accurate CRM documentation
