Position Available: Project Safety Lead
We are seeking a dedicated Site Safety Lead to join our team. As a Site Safety Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees on our job sites. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols, conducting site audits, and providing training to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
This full-time, field-based position reports directly to the Safety Manager - full-time travel required.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM depending on project needs, over 50 hours will be required at times
  • Some Weekend Work may be required.
  • Pay Range - $40 Hourly -$50 an Hourly DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily site walks to identify safety concerns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in safety leadership walks with general contractors (GCs).
  • Provide regular updates to site management and the Safety Manager on safety findings and corrective actions.
  • Perform Pre-Task Plan audits and field evaluations to address safety deficiencies.
  • Conduct site audits based on corporate safety questionnaires.
  • Provide training to craft employees on safety measures, policies, and best practices.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety orientations as needed for new personnel.
  • Manage and assist with accident and safety claims, including case management and follow-up.
  • Lead and support incident review meetings with clients and GCs.
  • Collaborate with field supervision to ensure safety compliance across projects.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Minimum of 3 years' safety experience in construction or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations, and state-specific safety laws Relevant certification(s) such as CSP, CHST, or STSC strongly preferred
  • Current OSHA 30 (Construction) and First Aid/CPR required.
  • HAZWOPER, CESCL and SWPPP certification, strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HCSS Construction Software, strongly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including mastery of grammar and meticulous attention to detail required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
