Job description

RF - Microwave Engineer
On Site: Chelmsford MA
W2 hourly rates: $64.20 to 79.70 per hour*
First Shift (Monday-Thursday) from 6:30AM - 4:00PM
Active or Interim Secret Clearance required to Start
 
GeoLogics** is ready to hire an RF-Microwave Engineer to work onsite  in Chelmsford MA on an important defense program.   As an RF / microwave engineer on our team, you will support the manufacturing of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high reliability applications. You'll be responsible for analysis and troubleshooting of circuits for advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits and frequency conversion circuits; and for providing technical support to our manufacturing operation to resolve assembly and test issues. 

You'll utilize your great interpersonal and communication skills to learn from and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.

Qualifications required to get to an interview: 
  • US Citizenship and an Active or Interim Secret Clearance 
  • Bachelor's Degree in RF / Microwave Engineering.
  • 1+ years of related experience in RF/Microwave Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits.
  • Knowledge of RF/ microwave test equipment is required, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers.
  •  Expertise with reviewing and interpreting technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is required.
Plus two or more of the following desired skills :
* Professional experience in the aerospace/defense industry is desired.
* Professional experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
* Demonstrated academic achievement in the field of RF is desired.
* Familiarity with RF / microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools is desired.
* Familiarity with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is desired.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are desired.
* Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
