POSITION TITLE:

Coordinator for Economic Development Support

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision, the Coordinator for Economic Development Support is responsible for supporting training activities, managing the student and client registration system, tracking and reconciliation of divisional budgets, divisional data entry and data entry compliance, and supporting the activities and use of the Georgia Training Center for Industrial Operations. The Coordinator will work closely with the Vice President for Economic Development in the area of client support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Student Registration System: student registrations, course and session creation, course completion, billing and invoicing, reporting. This includes the submission of billing and invoices for Contract Training and managing course registration for Contract Training and Continuing Education.
  • Manage and deliver Student Communication including class reminders, requirements, and logistics
  • Manage and address student requirements - student ID's, Login credentials, certificates of completion, etc.
  • Manage and create course delivery shells for the division on the college's LMS
  • Oversee daily reporting of student completion per course requirement
  • Manage the division's contract training calendar
  • Manage the delivery of marketing communications through Constant Contact and other delivery modalities
  • Monthly reconciliation of divisional budgets
  • Manage data tracking for internal reporting and reporting to TCSG
  • Manage and deliver reporting internally and to TCSG from student registration system, etc.
  • Manage apprenticeship paperwork, hours tracking, and certificate delivery
  • Manage inventory of certain training resources
  • Manage completion ceremonies at the conclusion of course sessions (programs, site booking, etc.)
  • Work with the Director for Instructional Operations to coordinate student events
  • Work with the Vice President of Economic Development to develop training proposals
  • Work with the Vice President of Economic Development to host client meetings on campus
  • Work with the Vice President for Economic Development to coordinate events for visitors and prospective clients of the Division of Economic Development

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field *and* Two (2) years related work experience
  • Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of community and industry training needs and standards
  • Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge in custom training design and implementation
  • Excellent human-relations, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills.

SALARY/BENEFITS:
