Job description

Expertise and Functions
  • Plan, coordinate, track, review, and deliver all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL) deliverables throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Serve as the organization's central point of contact for contractual data deliverables and collaborates closely with Program Management, Contracts, Quality, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant submissions
  • Establish and maintain data management processes and document control procedures
  • Reporti metrics while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), company procedures, and applicable government regulations
  • Serve as the primary administrator for all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL) activities
  • Analyze contract requirements, Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), and CDRLs to establish data deliverable requirements and schedules
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the program CDRL Master Schedule and associated delivery calendar
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Functional Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Quality Assurance, Contracts, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure timely completion of required deliverables
  • Establish internal milestones to ensure all CDRLs undergo required reviews and approvals prior to contractual due dates
  • Review deliverables for completeness, formatting, contractual compliance, accuracy, quality, and consistency before customer submission
  • Coordinate customer comments, review cycles, revisions, and resubmittals as necessary
  • Maintain document repositories, electronic records, version control, and controlled document libraries
  • Track CDRL status, overdue actions, customer responses, and acceptance metrics
  • Develop dashboards and management reports that communicate program data delivery performance and schedule health
  • Maintain data management plans, document numbering systems, naming conventions, and document retention requirements
  • Ensure configuration-controlled documents are released and maintained in accordance with company Configuration Management and Quality procedures
  • Coordinate document releases with Program and Contract Management and technical authors
  • Support proposal development by reviewing solicitation CDRLs and estimating data management effort
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, DCMA reviews, and quality management assessments
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline document workflows and improve data quality
  • Train program personnel on CDRL processes, document standards, and submission requirements
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Government customers regarding contractual data deliverables
  • Maintain compliance with FAR, DFARS, customer contractual requirements, company policies, and ISO/AS9100 quality standards, as applicable
  • Provide support to Project Manager, Contracting, or senior-level Engineering personnel in the areas of: project scheduling, configuration management, finance and accounting, contracting, limited data analyses, database development or data gathering, preparation of technical/program reports or briefings, test plans and reports, and associated documentation, test or validation/verification assistance
  • Participate in test or project events as assigned by Project Manager or Engineer, reports status and results
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in management or other relevant discipline required Business, Information Management, Engineering, Technical Writing, Supply Chain degree tracks desired
  • An additional 5+ years of experience in addition to below requirements may be considered in lieu of a degree

Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area to include Data Management, Configuration Management, Document Control, or CDRL management within a DoD or aerospace environment
  • Required:
    • Experience managing CDRLs, DIDs, SDRLs, and contractual data deliverables
    • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD acquisition documentation, and government contracting practices
    • Experience interpreting contract requirements and Statements of Work
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict contractual deadlines
  • Preferred
    • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and document management system
    • Knowledge of Configuration Management principles
    • Experience supporting DCMA, DCAA, or government customer audits

Security:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance required

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
