Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. The Software Engineer Intern will work onsite between 20-25 hours per week Monday to Friday in our New York office. Lunch and transportation allowance are provided.
Role Summary: As a Software Engineer Intern at Universal Processing, you will work closely with the development team for software development, enhancement, and testing.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with fellow development team members to communicate with product support and business development team in the completion of your work
  • Maintain and enhance current products; troubleshoot and resolve software application issues
  • Take products and features from ideas to production by architecting, building, and deploying new products from scratch
  • Get involved in the full development lifecycle including documentation and some application support / bug fixing
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with complex systems
  • Ability to work in fast-paced technical environments
  • Currently in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor's or Master's program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Prior experience with programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, Python, and more
