Raytheon is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to join The Standard Missile 3 team, SM-3 IB program, as a Material Program Manager located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. We are looking for a self-starter who can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrixed environment and is able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain. You’ll contribute to the execution of Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure the flawless execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through contract closure.  
 

The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization. 
 

What You Will Do: 

  • Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans 
  • Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives 
  • Contribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management 
  • Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs). 
  • Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs). 
  • Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes. 
  • Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests. 
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be <25%) 
     

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing 
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. 
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements. 
     

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Procurement / supplier management experience 
  • CORE or similar Six Sigma Specialist 
  • Proposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience 
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs). 
  • Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.) 
  • Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (i.e EMD, LRIP, FRP, Cost and Fixed Price)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
