Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and dependable security professional to serve as the Security Governance, Strategy & Programs Manager. This individual contributor will drive the consistent execution and overall effectiveness of the Global Corporate Physical Security program through security program governance, policy and process discipline, project and special program execution, reporting, program tools and information management, and cross-functional coordination. The role will independently own and lead defined workstreams, projects and programs translate established Security priorities into structured plans, governance mechanisms, workflows, and reporting, and help improve visibility, accountability, and follow-through across the Security program. Working closely with Security leadership, operational stakeholders, and cross-functional partners, the position will drive consistent execution, documentation, decision support, and continuous improvement across assigned Security programs and initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesProgram Governance, Policy & Process

Own and oversee defined governance workstreams supporting consistent execution of Global Corporate Physical Security programs, policies, standards, procedures and operating mechanisms. Coordinate policy and process development, stakeholder review, approvals, implementation, documentation and ongoing maintenance. Track priorities, commitments, risks, dependencies, corrective actions and follow-up items, escalating matters that require leadership decisions.

Project & Special Program Execution

Independently manage complex Security projects, special programs, and strategic workstreams, translating established Security priorities into structured plans, milestones, deliverables, governance mechanisms, dependencies, risks, and action tracking. Manage and coordinate cross-functional workstreams, working sessions and program reviews; document decisions, owners, due dates and required follow-up. Oversee and support implementation of new Security capabilities, tools and processes and capture lessons learned to improve future execution.

Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support

Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, KPIs/KRIs, briefing materials and other decision-support information, including standardized reporting approaches that improve consistency and program visibility. Collect, validate and analyze program, operational, risk, incident and performance information to identify trends, gaps and areas requiring attention. Synthesize data, process requirements and stakeholder input into clear insights that support Security leadership prioritization and decisions.

Program Tools, Knowledge Management & Supporting Activities

Develop, administer, and maintain SharePoint and Smartsheet solutions supporting Security program governance, project tracking, workflows, reporting, dashboards, documentation, and knowledge management; use Excel, Power BI and Microsoft 365 tools to support related analysis and reporting. Maintain organized, current and audit-ready program information, templates, repositories and reference materials. Support Security intelligence, government and law-enforcement engagement, critical-infrastructure and public-private partnerships, audits and other external activities through research, information collection, reporting, coordination, documentation and follow-up, as directed by Security leadership and program priorities.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in physical security, corporate security, program management, business operations, project management, intelligence, analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex projects or programs involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of physical security operations, risk management, incident management, or related security disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate operational or security data.
  • Strong program and project management skills with demonstrated ability to establish plans, milestones, action tracking, governance, and performance reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with demonstrated ability to develop management reporting, briefing materials, data analysis, and decision-support information.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; demonstrated hands-on experience developing and administering SharePoint and Smartsheet solutions, or similar tools, for program tracking, workflows, reporting, dashboards, documentation and knowledge management.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, technical teams, operational stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Experience coordinating with government agencies, law enforcement, intelligence-sharing organizations, critical infrastructure programs, or public-private partnerships preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently with limited supervision.
  • High degree of judgment, discretion, professionalism, and ability to appropriately handle confidential or sensitive information.
  • Experience within data centers, critical infrastructure, technology, corporate security, or another complex multi-site operating environment preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to approximately 15-20%.
Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Business Administration, Project Management, Emergency Management, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered. Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent is desirable. Professional security certification such as CPP, PSP, PCI, or equivalent is desirable. Microsoft, SharePoint, Power BI, data analytics, or business intelligence certifications are beneficial. Experience participating in government, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, or security intelligence programs is highly desirable.
