Job Title:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) CWR
Location:

Job Summary:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist, under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, and Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy under medical direction, performing intubation assistance, ventilator setup and management, gathering patient information for evaluation, and educating patients and caregivers. The role requires developing rapport with patients and team members to foster an optimal environment for goal achievement. Additional duties include adhering to organizational competencies and standards of behavior, as well as lifting, pushing, and pulling a minimum of 5 lbs. and standing for at least 1 hour daily.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
- BLS - AHA certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license
- Current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
