Type: W2 Contract
Industry: Manufacturing / Injection Molding Automation
We are actively hiring a Molding Automation Technician for an exciting opportunity in the Manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in injection molding automation, robotics, PLCs, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot molding automation systems, robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems
• Program and optimize molding robots for efficient production
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment
• Support mold trials, new product launches, and process improvements
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, servo, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
 
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED or Technical Certification in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Automation
• 4+ years of experience in Injection Molding Automation
• Hands-on experience with robot programming and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial sensors, and automation equipment
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings with good troubleshooting and communication skills
