Job description

Role Summary
This position is a mid-level contract administration role focused on land and right of way agreements. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage end-to-end contract processes to ensure efficient workflow, compliance, and accuracy. Working collaboratively across multiple departments, the role guarantees standardized procedures and effective contract management to support project goals and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continually improve the contractual workflow for land and right of way agreements.
  • Develop and document standardized processes for contract intake, review, redlining, approval, execution, and filing.
  • Oversee and administer the contract management system’s workflow, including routing, approvals, version control, and execution tracking.
  • Manage the contract repository, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of agreements.
  • Create and maintain templates, process guides, playbooks, and SOPs to support consistent contract handling.
  • Act as the primary process owner for land and right of way agreements, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Land, Engineering, and Project teams to facilitate smooth contract workflows.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations and redlining activities to meet project timelines.
  • Ensure all contracts are reviewed, approved, and executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support continuous process improvements to optimize contract lifecycle management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or contract management roles.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing contract processes and workflows.
  • Strong proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or similar contract management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with contract redlining and negotiation coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to document and optimize processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with legal, land, engineering, and project teams across functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity to ensure compliance and accuracy in contract execution.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid environment, with a schedule that combines onsite and remote work.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
