We seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion for the Lifting Solutions business line by leading technical sales activities, developing client relationships, and delivering fit-for-purpose lifting solutions across offshore and onshore projects.

This role combines commercial leadership, technical expertise, and operational alignment to turn opportunities into completed work scopes. Specifically in the US and GOA markets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver revenue and margin targets for the Lifting Solutions business line
  • Grow market share through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline with clear forecasting
  • Ensure all proposals are technically compliant, commercially competitive, and aligned with company standards
  • Achieve high conversion rates from opportunities to awarded work
  • Maintain strong client relationships resulting in repeat business and long-term contracts
  • Ensure effective handover from sales to operations for successful project delivery
  • Manage and reduce aged debt in line with company targets
  • Ensure compliance with all QHSE, operational, and company policies
  • Drive team performance against agreed objectives and KPIs

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the lifting solutions sales strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across oil & gas, renewables, and industrial sectors
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, including pricing, risk assessment, and scope definition
  • Provide technical expertise on lifting operations, rigging, cranes, and engineered lifting solutions
  • Liaise with engineering, operations, and QHSE teams to develop integrated and compliant solutions
  • Conduct regular client visits to build relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Support tendering activities including bid/no-bid decisions and commercial strategy
  • Monitor project execution post-award to ensure client satisfaction and identify additional opportunities
  • Manage sales tracking, reporting, and forecasting activities
  • Ensure timely billing, invoicing, and follow-up on payments
  • Lead, mentor, and manage technical sales personnel within the team
  • Set team objectives and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Ensure continuous development of technical knowledge within the team
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, lifting regulations, and market trends
  • Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
  • Travel throughout the Americas.

Requirements

    • Proven experience in technical sales or operations within lifting solutions / cranes / rigging
    • Strong understanding of offshore and/or onshore lifting operations
    • Strong commercial and financial awareness

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Valid driving licence
