Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36
Shift Information: 1845-0710
On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend Rotation: EOW
Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Floating Requirements: Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital)

About Facility:
Free standing emergency department
10 bed ED
o No Trauma Designation, licensed under client SE Pineville
o We offer 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound service
o Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information:
o Average patients/day- 17-20 ED visits per day
o Minimum Years of Experience required- 2 yrs Respiratory Therapy
o Will you accept a first-time traveler- Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Adult Care, NICU (no pediatric)
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
o RRT
o NC Licensure
Skills required:
o Critical patients, NICU type patients, PCU type patients, general ER patients.
o Goal is to stabilize and ship out if needed
Support within the Department:
o Respiratory Care Leadership and staff
o Nursing staff
Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: Servo ventilators (to include I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, bubble cpap
Floating:
o Will be required to float per Region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital)
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
