Experience:

โ€ข 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

โ€ข Experience with Epic is required.

โ€ข AA completion required.

Requirements:

โ€ข Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

โ€ข This role will require floating to multiple units

โ€ข Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

โ€ข COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

โ€ข 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers considered upon manager review with strong experience. Critical care and general respiratory care experience required.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. May request up to 7 days off if the department can accommodate; must extend the contract if taking a full week off. Approved time off does not waive contracted weekly hours. Travelers are expected to fulfill all contracted weekly hours. Travelers on extension contracts might be granted additional flexibility based on department needs.

Unit Details: Pediatric critical care, neonatal critical care, and general inpatient respiratory care. Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if assigned. Uses Omnicell. Equipment includes Draeger V500 and Savina 300 ventilators, 3100A Oscillator, Hamilton C1/MRI, ResMed APAP, CPAP, Bi-level, Airvo2 high flow devices, Cough Assist, Incourage vest, ABL90 blood gas machines, IPV, and Praxair iNO.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Generally no call, unless planned for events like the Rally at Rapid City Hospital. Work holidays that fall within the contract dates.

Floating Requirements: RT coverage throughout the hospital and ED. Will not float to other facilities unless hired specifically for that.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
