Job description

One Federal Solution seeks a professional with proficient knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and demonstrated experience in reviewing and administering Government contracts. The role requires conducting both pre-award and post-award contract price and cost analyses across a variety of procurement actions to ensure cost effectiveness, compliance with applicable laws, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Contract Specialist II Task and Duties:
  • Assist Government contracting officer's with large and small purchase contract actions.
  • Review solicitation packages for completeness.
  • Review funding documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents to be contained in a solicitation
  • package.
  • May be required to work with a program office to resolve minor issues.
  • Will be required to input contracts, task orders and purchase orders into the Unified Financial
  • Management System (UFMS).
  • Research and provide statistical data to contracting officer.
  • Prepare documents such as market research and determination.
Contract Specialist Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credits
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation
  • Proficient writing skills
  • At least six (6) years of related working experience which demonstrates the candidate meets the required
  • duties and responsibilities listed above.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Superior time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Compensation:

Compensation for this position is expected to fall within the range of $41.00 - $46.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the position requirements.
