Job description

We are seeking a Senior Client Operations Manager to join IQVIA Laboratories in Marietta, Georgia.

Job Summary:
Manage and strengthen strategic client relationships while overseeing project delivery from operational and financial perspectives throughout each project's lifecycle. Collaborate with global project teams, operational leaders, Business Development, and client stakeholders to support consistent delivery, effective governance, and continuous performance improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Establish close working relationships with global project teams, Business Development, operational teams, and appropriate Contract Research Organization counterparts to support consistent, high-quality study delivery
  • Develop appropriate client governance structures and meeting schedules to communicate portfolio health, progress, risks, priorities, and actions
  • Participate in client operational committees, bid defense meetings, capabilities presentations, audits, and other client meetings as needed
  • Review lessons learned, best practices, client requirements, budgets, Key Performance Indicators, Master Service Agreement commitments, customer survey results, and improvement actions with internal stakeholders
  • Define and communicate client-specific standards, coordinate related training, and proactively manage changes to client requirements
  • Track performance metrics and Service Level Agreements while driving process improvements and corrective actions through completion
  • Develop clear communication plans and facilitate effective internal meetings, client calls, and portfolio reviews
  • Support technical reviews and proposal development while promoting best practices and process improvements across IQVIA Laboratories
What We Are Looking For:
  • A bachelor's degree in sciences or a related field is preferred
  • 7 years of clinical or research industry experience, including 5 years project management experience, is preferred
  • Experience with project budgets, performance metrics, Key Performance Indicators, and Service Level Agreements
  • Knowledge of global clinical project operations, client governance practices, and Master Service Agreement requirements
  • Familiarity with study delivery in accordance with the International Council for Harmonisation E6 Guideline for Good Clinical Practice
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree

  • Ability to resolve complex problems by gaining cooperation and coordinating effectively across multiple departments
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to manage global project activities with urgency, deliver high-quality work, and drive actions to completion with minimal supervision
  • Clear and effective communication skills across departments, geographic regions, senior leadership groups, and global client teams
  • Strong understanding of assigned client expectations, requirements, and business needs
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, operational partners, and clients

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $83,000.00 - $173,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
