Job description

Assistant Controller – Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Full Relocation Package Offered

Relocate to Southern California's Inland Empire — Sunshine, Space, and Career Growth

Trade cramped city living for wide-open Southern California skies, with the mountains for weekend hiking, wine country minutes away, and downtown Los Angeles still well within reach when you want the big-city energy. This corner of the Inland Empire offers a rare combination for SoCal: more house for your money, a lower cost of living than the coast, and a genuine community feel, all without giving up beaches, world-class dining, or major-league sports. It's Southern California living without the Southern California price tag.

The company provides full relocation assistance, with candidates able to begin the role remotely for 30-60 days while relocation logistics are finalized.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of aero engines and industrial gas turbine components, is a globally recognized public company with a remarkable 75-year history of growth and innovation. • Exceptional insurance coverage and 401(k) matching program, effective upon hire
  • Employer contribution to your Retirement Savings Plan account each pay period
  • Vibrant company culture and collaborative team environment
  • Access to excellent training programs for professional development
  • Free fitness center membership

  • Assist/participate in physical inventories of product and fixed asset inventory
  • Support the monthly finance close and drive the operating budget process
  • Support management's financial requests through detailed analysis and reporting; assist the controller in forecasting/budgeting

What You Bring

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, including financial reporting and financial analysis (5-10 years and standard cost system experience preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Access; Oracle and Hyperion experience highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, with solid analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills, self-motivated and team-oriented
