About the role:

The Process Technology Manager will manage technical activities across multiple dosage forms with internal manufacturing sites and contract manufacturing companies and support batch cycle time (BCT) improvement, product transfers, cost savings initiatives and new product introductions (NPIs) while partnering with QA, Commercial, R&D, and central Technical teams and internal sites to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement on CAPA effectiveness.

  • Ensure effective and efficient fit for purpose technical processes are in place to support the North America BCT program, Product Transfer, NPI, registration and launch.

  • This is a key leadership role assuming full accountability for all Technical activities for CMOs within scope of Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) including:

    • Product / Process assessments and continuous improvement at CMOs.

    • Oversight and implementation of validation activities impacting Haleon products.

    • Troubleshooting and CAPA implementation / effectiveness for technical related issues.

    • Product transfer and NPI technical oversight and accountability.

  • Support the North America Technical Support Lead in development and application of standard work across the internal sites and CMO network, including implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Performance Management activities.

  • Work effectively within the matrix management structure to properly engage and drive performance from internal sites and CMO Technical teams and pull in proper support from wider Haleon network Technical resources when needed.

  • Support regional governance routines to track site performance vs plan and facilitate complex issue resolution.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop technical talent within internal sites and CMO network.

  • Represent the technical function and actively participate in regular Site leadership and SRT leadership meetings to drive business and Quality performance goals in the network.

  • Colleague will work independently on most assignments and will be primarily accountable for identifying and prioritizing the projects / activities he / she is assigned to.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.

  • 5 years experience in a Pharmaceutical/Food manufacturing /Cosmetic/ Technical environment.

  • Experience in internal sites environment and CMO (Contract Manufacturing Operations).

  • Experience in complex technical troubleshooting, RCA and CAPA effectiveness.

  • Experience in scale-up, tech transfers, process validation projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership in a global, matrixed environment in the Pharmaceutical/Food/Cosmetic industry.

  • Business acumen to drive continuous improvement and interact with internal sites Leadership team and with external company Executive teams on behalf of Haleon.

  • Stakeholder management across a matrix organization to deliver results, demonstrating an ability to work in an ambiguous context and with short deadlines.

  • Ability to summarize complex ideas and problems and effectively communicate to stakeholders in different functions.

  • Effective motivator and communicator with good influencing skills.

  • Excellent relationship Management and presentation skills.

  • Strong understanding of our internal sites' operations, with the ability to effectively navigate sites' processes, stakeholders, and ways of working.

Location: This is a hybrid position based and can be located in one of the following locations: Warren, NJ; Lincoln, NE; Oak Hill, NY; St. Louis, MO; Guayama, Puerto Rico; or Montreal, Canada requiring on-site presence 3 days per week.

The US Salary Range for this role is $114,699 - $157,711 USD + a 12% annual target bonus. The Canadian salary range for the is role is 108,350 -148,982. The Puerto Rico salary range for this role is 95,734 - 131,635.
