Complete Description:
The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. This role involves leveraging low-code/no-code capabilities to create custom applications, automate workflows, analyze and visualize data, and enhance business processes. The developer will also support users, optimize system performance, and integrate various data sources and services.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Create custom applications using Power Apps to meet specific business needs, including designing user interfaces, workflows, and data integrations.

2. Automating tasks and streamlining workflows using Power Automate, including connecting various applications and services to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

3. Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights from data.

4. Integrating data from various sources (Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, databases, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and efficient analysis.

5. Ensuring that Power Platform solutions adhere to security protocols, data governance policies, and relevant regulations.

6. Providing ongoing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing Power Platform solutions for optimal performance.

7. Keeping abreast of the latest features, updates, and best practices within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

8. Working closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other IT professionals to understand requirements, gather feedback, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

9. Assist power users in developing their own solutions using Power Platform tools.

10. Ensure best practices are followed and provide documentation for procedures and solutions.

11. Implement solutions integrating multiple data sources and services, including API and REST services.



Education:

Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science or related field, Masters degree preferred



Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of strong understanding and hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

2. 5+ years of knowledge of data modeling, database design, SQL, and data integration techniques.

3. 5+ years of familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript, JSON, and potentially others like C# or Python for advanced customizations and integrations.

4. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and other Office 365 services.

5. Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and devise effective solutions.

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and end-users.

7. Microsoft Power Platform certifications, such as Power Platform App Maker or Power Platform Developer, can be highly beneficial.

8. Experience with API integrations and handling multiple data sources.

9. Familiarity with various content management systems and version control systems.
