We are looking for responsible, qualified and experienced candidate for the post of Poultry Specialist. This job will be Responsible and accountable for supervising all aspects of contract farms.

Job Description:

Supervising all aspects of contract farmsResolving contract grower conflictsBio-security, strain security, animal welfare and health & safety are major responsibilitiesAssisting with placements, vaccinations, and disinfectionMay perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisorJob Qualifications:BS in Poultry Science or related field (preferred)Basic computer skillsAbility to calculate feed, manage and weigh birds, prioritize work schedules, solve problems relating to growth, performance, etcAbility to work flexible hours including some weekends - on call 24 hours a dayMust be self-motivated with ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiencyGood communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsTeam orientedCurrent driver's licenseTwo years of poultry experience preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
