Are you an experienced insurance professional who is ready to take the next step beyond producing sales and take ownership of an agency's growth and success?
Farmers Insurance is seeking motivated insurance professionals for a Farmers Agency Director opportunity. This role is designed for individuals with insurance sales and agency experience who are ready to lead an operation, build a team, grow a book of business, and develop a long-term career as an agency leader.
You won't be starting completely from scratch. You'll have access to an established Farmers brand, proven systems, training, marketing resources, and support from an experienced district team to help you build and operate your agency.

What You'll Do
As a Farmers Agency Director, you'll be responsible for leading the overall performance and growth of the agency.
  • Manage, retain, and grow an insurance book of business.
  • Develop and execute sales, marketing, and business-growth strategies.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and the local community.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop agency team members as the business grows.
  • Oversee day-to-day agency operations and performance.
  • Monitor sales activity, production, retention, and other key performance indicators.
  • Create a strong customer-focused culture within the agency.
  • Ensure agency operations remain compliant with Farmers guidelines and requirements.
  • Build referral and networking relationships to generate new business.
  • Take responsibility of the agency's long-term growth and profitability.
What We're Looking For
This opportunity is best suited for an experienced insurance professional who is ready to step into a greater level of leadership and responsibility.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Life & Health license preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous insurance sales and/or agency experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and business skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and performance goals.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable leading people and managing business performance.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass required background and credit checks.
  • Financial readiness to support the operation of the agency, including staffing and marketing needs.
