Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist in Greenville, SC. This is a full-time contract Office Based assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist As a Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist, you will ensure integration of the Cobra cost engine with the program's scheduling tool (Oracle Primavera P6) and the proper management of project costs, measurement of performance, management of change control, and analysis of budgets, actuals, and forecasts. This role requires a senior-level professional with extensive project controls experience who can manage complex cost systems and develop quality assurance processes. As a Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist YOU will: Ensure integration of the Cobra cost engine with the program's scheduling tool (Oracle Primavera P6) and the proper management of project costs, measurement of performance, management of change control, and analysis of budgets, actuals, and forecasts Develop and manage the Estimate to Complete (ETC) collection and integration process and validate the Estimate at Complete (EAC) within the Cobra data system Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems Manage the performance measurement baseline through the monthly integration of schedule plan, status, and forecasts with accounting system actuals Develop quality assurance to ensure accuracy of reporting Prepare, analyze, and review program performance measurement and cost variances Implement change actions into the cost baseline according to procedure Prepare and manage the variance analysis collection process Produce the required Format deliverable reports (Fmt 1-5) along with other required monthly metrics according to the monthly business rhythm YOU are the ideal Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist candidate if you have: Must be a U.S

Citizen (required) Fourteen (14) or more years of project controls experience (required) Working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to project controls Advanced proficiency with Cobra cost engine Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling tool Strong understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Experience developing and managing ETC collection and integration processes Ability to prepare Format deliverable reports (Fmt 1-5) Strong analytical skills for performance measurement and cost variance analysis Experience managing performance measurement baselines Quality assurance and reporting accuracy experience It's a BONUS if you have: Department of Energy project experience Advanced certifications in project controls or earned value management Experience with federal contracting and compliance Additional project controls software proficiency About Our CLIENT Our client is a global engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance (EPCM) company that provides integrated solutions for complex and large-scale projects across a variety of industries, including energy, chemicals, infrastructure, mining, and manufacturing.
