Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring P6 Construction Scheduler in Social Circle, GA. We are seeking a P6 Construction Scheduler to manage complex project schedules for large-scale infrastructure and communications projects. The ideal candidate possesses advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and a proven track record of coordinating with project management teams to ensure timely, contract-compliant delivery in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55 to $70 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and Integrated Master Schedules using Primavera P6 for large-scale construction projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, field leadership, and stakeholders to establish baseline schedules and perform regular status updates.
  • Monitor project progress against the baseline, identifying critical path activities and potential delays.
  • Perform schedule risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Support project teams with resource loading, manpower forecasting, and 'what-if' scenario modeling.
  • Generate and distribute schedule reports, dashboards, and Earned Value Management (EVM) data for internal leadership and client review.
  • Ensure all schedules align with contract requirements, technical specifications, and safety standards.
  • Document schedule impacts related to change orders and support the development of recovery plans.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy across project scheduling and budgeting tools.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction scheduling with a focus on electrical, telecommunications, or industrial projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methods.
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and critical path methodology.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise format.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working on hyperscale or data center construction projects is highly preferred.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods while operating a computer and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required for close-up computer work and detailed schedule analysis.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, and stoop.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment and occasionally visit active construction jobsites.
