Job description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Procurement Contract Operations Analyst for a contract assignment with one of our premier Management Consulting clients in Miramar, FL . This will be a hybrid position (onsite Tues-Thurs and remote M/F). A paralegal background is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operations of a high-visibility procurement and contract governance process, ensuring requests are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare business justifications, supporting documentation, and analytical materials required for contract reviews and approvals.
  • Compile, validate, and organize contract documentation from multiple enterprise systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison for the process manager by proactively managing a queue of requests, coordinating follow-up activities, resolving issues, and escalating risks when appropriate.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Business Stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate timely contract processing and consistent execution of established workflows.
  • Analyze information from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, validate data, and develop benchmarks or supporting analyses that enable informed business decisions.
  • Exercise sound judgment while handling confidential information and balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve documentation quality, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and support governance, compliance, and reporting requirements throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions and global regions to ensure an exceptional internal client experience.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience supporting procurement, contract management, legal operations, contract administration, vendor management, or similar business operations functions within a large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, maintaining a high-volume work queue, and consistently following tasks through to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive sense of ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience validating data and preparing supporting analyses.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple enterprise applications and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in an evolving environment while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Legal education or professional background (Paralegal, Juris Doctor, Legal Studies, Contract Law, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting commercial contracts, contract lifecycle management (CLM), procurement operations, legal operations, third-party risk, vendor governance, or regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with enterprise contract management, procurement, or workflow systems.
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
