As3PL Network Operations Manager you are accountable forend-to-end operational performanceand process ownership oftheNorthAmerica warehousing and distribution network, including oversight of all third-partylogistics(3PL) providers.You will own the standardization, governance, and continuous improvement of warehouse and distributionprocesses across all 3PL partners, ensuring a transition from apeopledependentto a process driven operating model.

You will ensure the network delivers safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective warehouse and distribution services while improving inventory accuracy, order execution quality, productivity, and working capital performance.You are required toestablishstandardized warehouse operating procedures, drives performance governance with 3PL partners, and lead capacity planning (spaceandlabor) to support seasonal demand and operational growth. You will report to theNorthAmericaLogisticsDirector andpartner closely with Plant Operations, Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end 3PL network performance and warehousing execution, accountable for key service outcomes including on-time shipping, order cycle time, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock efficiency, order quality, and damage/shrink performance, while driving results through KPI-based management, standardized reporting, and structured escalation, and leading governance cadences (weekly reviews, monthly and quarterly business reviews) to ensure provider accountability and corrective action across service, productivity, inventory, and compliance metrics.
  • Establish and govern standardized SOP frameworks across the 3PL network, ensuring consistent execution of core processes such as inbound/outbound operations, inventory control, damaged goods handling, safety, compliance, and business continuity, while partnering with site teams on localized SOP development, and driving adherence through audit mechanisms, standard work, and performance tracking.
  • Serve as the process owner for inventory control across the 3PL network, driving cycle count discipline, improving inventory accuracy, aged inventory visibility, and reconciliation with plants and planning, while leading initiatives to reduce SLOB, write-offs, damage, and loss, and ensuring consistent reporting and data integrity to support working capital improvements.
  • Develop and manage warehouse capacity plans across the 3PL network, covering space utilization, labor requirements, seasonal demand, and growth initiatives, while identifying constraints and implementing mitigation strategies (e.g., overflow, re-slotting, supplemental labor, alternate sites) in partnership with the T&W Director to support long-term network and footprint strategy.
  • Establish and drive site-level performance governance and execution discipline across the 3PL network by implementing KPI frameworks, escalation processes, and structured issue resolution (RCA and CAPA), while leading continuous improvement through regular performance reviews, proactive operating rhythms, routine facility audits (inventory, safety, compliance), and strong cross-functional coordination with 3PLs, plants, customer service, and commercial teams to prevent systemic service failures.
  • Act as the end-to-end process owner for warehousing and distribution across the 3PL network, driving scalable and repeatable operations through standardized work, KPI-based performance management, and structured continuous improvement methodologies (RCA and CAPA), while partnering cross-functionally on broader transformation initiatives and maintaining direct execution ownership across the network.
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance to support contract and cost governance across the 3PL network, including warehouse agreements, scope changes, rate cards, and billing processes, while ensuring accurate KPI reporting and operational documentation to effectively manage spend, claims, and prevent scope creep.
  • Provide warehousing and distribution expertise to support network optimization, warehouse transitions, new site onboarding, and system or process improvement initiatives, ensuring strong operational readiness and disciplined execution throughout all change events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fieldrequired
  • 7-10+ years of experience in warehousing/distribution operations with 3PL oversight preferred
  • Demonstrated successoperatingmulti-site warehouse networks and improving inventory accuracy and service
  • Strong capabilities in warehouse standard work, KPI management, and 3PL governance
  • Working knowledge of WMS / SAP warehouse processes and EDI capabilities
  • "Field general" mindset: hands-on operational leadership with provider accountability
  • Strong structured problem solving (RCA, CAPA, standardized work)
  • Ability tooperateat both strategic and execution levels across a distributed network
  • Executive-level communication: concise, fact-based reporting and escalations
  • Comfortoperatingin a fast-paced environment with frequent exceptions and stakeholder urgency

The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,690.00 and $181,412.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
