Task Manager/ Contract Manager
North Charleston, SC

Salary: $55.77 - $61.54 per hour
MANDEX currently has a need for a Task Manager / Contract Manager to join our Team based in Charleston, SC, in a role responsible for day-to-day contract performance, staff oversight, deliverable control, Government communication, and ensuring work is performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the contract and PWS.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day contract operations in accordance with contract requirements and performance objectives.
  • Supervise assigned personnel and provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight.
  • Track contract requirements, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage and monitor contract deliverables, including the preparation and submission of accurate Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Maintain effective communication with the COR regarding: Requirement changes, Service improvements, Major accomplishments, Schedule updates, Program risks, Security incidents and events
  • Coordinate activities across technical and administrative teams to ensure successful contract execution.
  • Identify and resolve personnel and performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support continuity of operations in a mission-focused Government environment.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, reporting standards, and Government expectations.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication among Government stakeholders, contractor personnel, and project teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management, team leadership, contract administration, or direct contract operations oversight.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least three years of team lead or management experience; or Associate's Degree in any discipline with at least five years of team lead or management experience.

Certification:
  • IAM Level III

Security Level:
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a security clearance

Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Selected candidates must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record in accordance with MANDEX policy.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
