Job Description:
As an Operations Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in operations management, task oversight, and contract deliverable management across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in operations and program management, adept at ensuring the successful execution of all tasks and deliverables to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management and execution of all operational tasks and activities across assigned projects and programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives and maintain high standards of performance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintain program documentation, schedules, and status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, government customers, and subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, management, or related discipline).
  • 10+ years of professional experience in operations or program management.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills in managing large, complex operations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CDRL management and government contract deliverables preferred.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
