We are looking for a service-oriented individual to join our team as our new Customer Service Coordinator!

Position Summary
The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for communicating directly with customers throughout the span of their building project. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties to facilitate the needs of the customer throughout the building process.
Essential Functions
  • Provide outstanding customer support while following the Build Coordination Office policies and structure.
  • Prepare contracts for signature at the point of sale with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Assist customers through the various steps of the build process while documenting all activity and communication with customers or others into project management software.
  • Coordinate customer site preparation taking into consideration the type of structure being built such as pole barns, houses, garages, etc. to ensure site is ready before building crews arrive at the site.
  • Assist customers by following a communication schedule that will allow you to anticipate their needs, such as making sure appropriate permits or engineer drawings have been obtained in a timely manner.
  • Place customer projects on the delivery schedule, notify customers of their delivery date window and any remaining balance due.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum high school or equivalent required; associate degree in business or relative field preferred.
  • Building materials or construction experience required; two-years customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Odoo V16, Click-Up, etc. preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive information, as well as customer issues.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment that can adapt to shift in priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Summertown Metals offers competitive wages contingent upon experience, education, and skills. Starting salary range for this role is $50-55K.
This is an in-office position with an anticipated schedule of Monday - Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
