What You'll Do

We are seeking an experienced AEM Fullstack Developer to support a high-impact digital experience initiative with a leading financial services client (State Street). This role requires strong hands-on development across AEM (AEMaaCS and/or on-prem) combined with modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js and backend experience in Node.js and Java.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating scalable digital solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams including architects, marketers, and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) across both frontend and backend layers
  • Build and integrate modern frontend applications using Next.js and JavaScript frameworks
  • Develop backend services and integrations using Node.js and Java
  • Work within AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and/or on-prem environments
  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and DevOps best practices
  • Integrate AEM with third-party systems, APIs, and marketing technologies
  • Support content migrations, component development, and platform enhancements
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and code quality
Required Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in software development, with strong focus on AEM
  • Hands-on experience with AEM (AEMaaCS and/or on-premise)
  • Strong proficiency in: Java, JavaScript / Next.js, Node.js
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
  • Solid understanding of AEM architecture, components, workflows, and integrations
  • Experience working across fullstack development (frontend + backend)
  • Ability to work in hybrid/on-site environments (must be located near listed locations)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with: React.js (especially within AEM/Next.js ecosystems), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, EDS (Edge Delivery Services)
  • Prior experience in financial services or enterprise environments
  • Experience with content migration projects
What We're Looking For
  • Strong hands-on developer (not just architectural oversight)
  • Ability to operate across both modern frontend and AEM backend ecosystems
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, consulting-style delivery environments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $150,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
