Job description

FI Consulting is a Microsoft Independent Software Vender (ISV), and we are bringing several exciting new solutions to market based on Microsoft's Power Platform/Dynamics 365. We are building a world-class team of Microsoft business applications professionals and are looking for intelligent, creative, high-potential consultants who want to grow with us.
As a Power Platform Analyst Consultant you will have 1-4 years experience. You will work on multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver business applications for customers. As part of that team, you will help analyze customer business needs and opportunities. You will learn and then apply Microsoft low-code/no-code Power Platform skills to design, develop, and implement creative business applications that drive substantive results.
We are looking for Consultants who demonstrate a strong blend of technical skills, essential soft skills, and a commitment to continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
  • Use of productivity tools is required
    • Purpose: answering questions, generating text, help with creating documents, emails, etc.
    • Examples: ChatGPT, MS Copilot, Gemini, etc.
  • Incorporating AI into solutions is nice to have

What You'll Do:
  • Learn and apply low-code development skills with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and data analytics technology.
  • Develop and leverage experience in a range of critical disciplines, including business process analysis, low-code/no-code solutions, business intelligence and analytics, and application integration.
  • Analyze and understand customer business processes, objectives, and challenges and then help implement solutions to address these.
  • Design and enhance Power Apps (canvas & model-driven).
  • Develop workflows and automations using Power Automate (cloud flows, complex expressions, orchestrations).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize solutions.

What You Bring:
  • Have or will soon achieve a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science, Financial, Economics, Business Information Technology, or related field of study.
  • Power Platform experience - specifically Model-driven apps and Power Automate flows - at enterprise scale.
  • Javascript experience (preferred)
  • Proven academic success with a GPA of 3.5+ (preferred).
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communication, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentation, and system design.
  • Creative intelligence and intellectual curiosity, with a drive for excellence.
  • Strong drive and commitment to solving customer problems required for a career in consulting.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years Power Platform experience.
  • Must reside within the DC Metro area and interested in working in a hybrid environment.
  • PL-200, PL 400 or other Power PLAT certifications are preferred.
