THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL


SciensBuilding SolutionsisseekingaService Sales Representativefor our fire-life safetyand securitybusiness.TheSales Representative's focus will be on newopportunities viaend-user customers and expanding services to existing customerswhilemanagingand growingthe business throughthe selling of new service contractswithin the assigned territory.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

  • Sellservice and maintenance contracts,and other related services; achieve orders/booking.
  • Achieveannual quota assigned and agreed upon by the General Manager or Sales Manager on a consistent basisafter initial ramp up period.
  • Createnew market share by selling a broad range of services to new customers.
  • Demonstrate strong prospecting skills and the ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence inSciens.Searchfor and qualifyopportunities on an ongoing basis; followup with prospects in a timely manner.
  • Conductpostcontract acceptancefollowup by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met, and affirmingcustomer satisfaction once the customer haspurchased aservice agreement.
  • Perform needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates,and presentations.Through the company's CRM tool, provide accurate forecast of activity and potential sales.
  • Maintainan in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services andcustomers'requirementsthrough in-house training,networking,and research.
  • Utilizeapproved marketing materials to present sales presentationsand proposalsto prospects, assuring the customer understands our value proposition, positive features,and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
  • Independently establish call plans and customer followup strategies and tactics; consistently applytime and territory management techniques.
  • Work withsystems sales,operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain sales.
  • Developand executetacticalsales strategies,including endusers,developers,and property managers.
  • Preparesales promotion campaigns for customers to promoteservice offeringsto commercial markets.

  • Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
