Job description

A well-established precision manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Sales & Account Manager to help grow and strengthen customer partnerships across OEM and industrial markets. This is a highly visible role focused on both new business development and strategic account growth within a custom manufacturing environment.This is not a passive account management role. The ideal candidate brings experience selling technical or custom-manufactured products and understands how to balance sales growth with operational realities, customer expectations, and long-term relationship management. What You Will Do:

  • Prospect and develop new OEM and industrial manufacturing customer relationships
  • Grow and strengthen existing strategic customer accounts
  • Lead customer communication related to quotes, timelines, production updates, and commitments
  • Partner closely with scheduling, operations, engineering, and quality teams to support customer needs
  • Manage RFQ activity, pricing discussions, and proposal follow-through
  • Conduct regular customer visits, business development meetings, and relationship-building activity
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts while expanding new business pipelines

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Experience selling custom-manufactured products, industrial components, or technical solutions into OEM or manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and grow long-term customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of quoting, customer requirements, production timelines, and account coordination within a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, scheduling, and production teams
