Job Description:
The Manager, Contract Manager will provide execution of procurement functions related to capital projects and strategic procurement of operational materials for JHS Spokane projects. Position will facilitate vendor competitive bidding processes and review, perform final vendor price negotiations, lead time, and payment terms, facilitate legal contract review and negotiations between vendor and Jubilant Pharma legal department, finalize vendor and Jubilant Pharma contract documents, and issue fully negotiated POs to strategic vendor partners. The Manager, Contract Manager position will ensure best industry practices in strategic procurement is realized, and ensure JHS-S receives best pricing and terms in procurement of capital equipment, services, and supplies for ongoing operations.
  • Ensure procurement activities are executed in accordance to Jubilant Pharma delegation of authority and company financialrules.
  • Generate request for quote documentation as required to meet capital project procurement objectives.
  • Perform competitive bidding process with strategic vendors supporting strategic capital and other projects.
  • Generate technical related and business related bid tab documentation in support of competitive bidding processes for review and final vendor evaluation.
  • Perform vendor negotiations for final price reductions, terms of payment, warranty, etc. in support of strategic capital projects.
  • Facilitate legal terms and conditions negotiations for capital equipment purchases, with collaboration between Jubilant legal team and selected vendor.
  • Generate internal contract documents and obtain all stakeholder signatures as required in support of purchasing capital goods or services.
  • Perform pricing and contract negotiations with strategic material and service suppliers for JHS-S and JHS-M site operations.
  • Participate in an internal and statutory Audits related procurement / capex.
  • Manage procurement processes by identifying gaps and ensuring the integrity of systems and processes.
  • Overseeing invoicing of a project
  • Liaising with technical and finance department, sub-contractors, Jubilant legal team and the client's own representatives

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in: Business, Production Management, Industrial Engineering or related field desired.
  • 5 to 10 years related experience required.
  • 10 years related experience desired.
  • Pharmaceutical experience desired.
  • FDA Regulated Industry experience desired.
  • 5 or more years of experience utilizing SAP desired
  • Procurement Industry best practices and negotiation techniques required
  • Working knowledge experience using Microsoft Suite required.
  • Working knowledge experience using SAP and ERP operating systems required.

Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full- -Time
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
