Position Requirements
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT), if required
  • Current ARRT (R) Certification
  • Current ARRT (M) Mammography Certification
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Mammography experience
  • Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammography
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
Schedule
  • 13-Week Travel Assignment
  • September 14, 2026 – December 13, 2026
  • Monday – Thursday
  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
  • Position patients accurately while ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures.
  • Operate and maintain mammography imaging equipment according to established protocols.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Assist radiologists during specialized breast imaging procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and all state and federal regulations.
  • Educate patients on mammography procedures and answer questions to reduce anxiety.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with digital mammography and PACS systems.
  • Breast imaging or biopsy assistance experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team.
