Mammographer- Up to $70/ HourEdina, MN

Interim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring a part time Mammographer to their team ASAP!  This is an exciting opportunity to work at premier healthcare facilities int eh Twin Cities metro area and to be a valuable part of the diagnostic imaging team.  We are looking for a skilled and empathetic professional who can guide patients through their procedures in a caring environment.
Schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 8a-4:30 or 8:30-5p

Pay rate: $60-$70 per hour (DOE)
 

Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Currently ARRT certification including Mammography. 
  • Two years of Mammography experience desired, diagnostic mammography preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with a huge emphasis on quality care.
  • Detail oriented 
  • Team player

Responsibilities:

  • Performs mammography services.
  • Verifies the appropriate patient for each examination.
  • Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking orders and correlating with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
  • Thoroughly explains the nature of the procedure to the patient to alleviate patient anxiety associated with the exam and /or equipment.
  • Provides the necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
  • Assists Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures.
  • The ability to also do general radiology and dexa scan is preferable.
  • Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
