We are a small facility with a nice "family atmosphere".
We are looking for a part-time Mammogram tech. Our schedule can be flexible to meet your schedule.
Would be great if the Mammogram tech can also perform some X-Rays.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Mammogram Technician to join our team! As a Mammogram Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
  • Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
  • Thoroughly document all patient services within a patients chart
  • Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
  • Quality Assurance- daily, monthly test on mammo unit.
Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited radiology program
  • Must be registered through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography / Mammography
  • Must hold a NJ state license as a Diagnostic Radiologic technologist
