Overview:

Signalink is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Contracts Administrator to support a growing portfolio of Department of Defense and aerospace programs. This role will support the administration of contracts, subcontracts, and proposal activities across multiple projects while ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable federal regulations.

This position is well-suited for a mid-level contracts professional with 2-3 years of applicable experience who is looking to continue developing their expertise in government contracting within a collaborative and fast-paced defense contractor environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the preparation, review, administration, and maintenance of contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, NDAs, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents.
  • Assist in ensuring contractual requirements, deliverables, and compliance obligations are properly tracked and documented.
  • Support government contract administration activities including modifications, closeouts, purchasing compliance, and subcontract administration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Project Management, Finance, Purchasing, and Leadership on contractual matters.
  • Interface with customers, subcontractors, and vendors regarding contract and procurement activities.
  • Support proposal and capture efforts by assisting with contractual data calls, proposal reviews, and contractual volume preparation.
  • Organize and maintain contract files and records in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.
  • Process new contracts and modifications through internal review and approval workflows.
  • Assist with contract closeout activities and records retention requirements.
  • Support quality management and compliance initiatives, including internal and external audits.
  • Maintain awareness of FAR, DFARS, and other regulatory updates that may impact company operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts/Acquisition Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of applicable experience supporting government contracts administration in a DoD contractor environment.
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and general government contracting principles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience with Unanet or similar GovCon ERP/accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with DCAA-compliant business practices and purchasing procedures.
  • NCMA certification or coursework is a plus.
  • Experience working in a small business environment preferred.
