Are you someone who enjoys working with salespeople, drivers, and customers? Do you excel in phone communication and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? If your answer is "Yes," then Mancan has a great opportunity for you. We are looking for a Dispatcher on behalf of a Wooster customer. This position offers a temporary-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
Duties:
1. Service wholesale and customer requests, effectively communicating with all involved parties.
2. Set up and manage the load board for drivers, optimizing routing and efficiency.
3. Monitor the load process through the Fuel Track system, ensuring timely product deliveries.
4. Keep track of inventory levels for Keel Fill customers, Fuel Marts, and freight contracts to prevent retains and run-outs.
5. Collaborate with wholesale teams to determine pull points and driver capacity by region, aligning with load demand.
6. Provide exceptional service to address driver and customer inquiries.
7. Book customer orders for Home Heating Oil and Bulk Fuel Deliveries.
8. Review and enhance logistics processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in logistics dispatch and scheduling.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics application software.
3. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments.
4. Comfortable working in a high-demand environment with adaptability to change.
5. Willingness to work some night and weekend shifts as part of an on-call rotation.
6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under high-pressure situations, utilizing independent judgment and discretion.
Physical Demands:
