Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Department: Mental Health
Reports To: Clinical Manager/ Executive Director
Employment Type: 1099
Location: Hybrid
Position Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides outpatient mental health therapy services to individuals and families. This role focuses on clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, and collaboration in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans. The LCSW works closely with clinical staff and care coordinators to ensure services are client-centered, compliant, and aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient individual and family therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments in an outpatient setting
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and clinical team members
  • Ensure treatment goals are measurable, clinically appropriate, and aligned with client needs
  • Monitor client progress and document outcomes in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Collaborate with care coordinators, psychiatrists, and other outpatient providers
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning sessions
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and families
  • Identify barriers to treatment and support client engagement in services
  • Provide referrals and coordinate care with community resources as needed
  • Adhere to ethical standards, HIPAA, and state licensure requirements

Qualifications
Education:
  • Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution

Licensure:
  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of practice

Experience:
  • Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy preferred
  • Demonstrated experience assisting with treatment plan development and implementation
  • Experience working with diverse populations in an outpatient setting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based outpatient therapeutic modalities
  • Ability to write clear, measurable, and goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards

Work Environment
  • Outpatient clinical setting (in-person and/or telehealth)
