Salary:

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview, Texas is a 20-bed, acute geriatric psych facility located in Plainview, Texas. We are looking for an experienced a licensed LCSW, LMSW or a LPC tobe part of the Clinical Services Team.

The LPC, LMSW or LCSW Director works as an integral part of our social services program which is necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agency guidelines. All duties are to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Allegiance and Freedom policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.Essential Functions:Provides individual, group and family session for patients as indicated by the supervisor. Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participates in chart reviews for quality assurance. Work with the clinical department including the following functions: discharge and after care planning, completion of discharge summaries, completion of clinical documentation and providing guidance to the clinical staff. Review psycho-social documentation, completion of outcome studies assessments and development clinical notes. Provides clinical counseling services, including group, individual and family services including communication in an age/disability/culturally sensitive milieu. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.


Educational/Experience Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

Mustbe a (1) LPC, LMSW or LCSW in the State of Texas and (2) or must possess one of the following:

Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and prefer at least three (3) years of full-time experience in psych.

Excellent assertive communication skills, good writing and composition skills and able to organize and prioritize high volume workload. Must be able to work under close supervision.

Therapeutic Intervention/De-escalation education required.

Must successfully complete CPR certification, as well as attend our approved behavioral de-escalation program.

License: LPC, LMSW, LMFT in good standing with the State of Texas.
