Job Title: General Laborer – Machine and Sheet Metal DepartmentJob Description

This role supports the Machine and Sheet Metal Department by operating equipment, inspecting parts for quality, and assisting with basic production tasks. You work hands-on with materials and tools, verify measurements, and help ensure that all parts meet required specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machines in the Machine and Sheet Metal Department in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect parts coming off machines for quality, accuracy, and proper measurements.
  • Use a tape measure to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet required specifications.
  • Work with basic hand and power tools as needed to complete production tasks.
  • Handle and move materials and parts safely, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Perform overtime work and occasional Saturday morning shifts when required to meet production needs.
