Job description

Choices Coordinated Care Solutions, Inc is seeking to contract with a competent and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to administer clinical evaluations and provide medication management services. This professional is responsible for providing direct medical service to children and adolescents. The primary duties of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will include administering clinical evaluations, prescribing medication as well as ordering, performing, and interpreting evaluations within their scope of practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners - Independent Contractors are responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Conduct Medication Management appointments for new and established clients
  • Ethically prescribe medication to clients
  • Communicate with PCPs when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records in the process of requesting medical records
  • Complete progress notes
  • Update and maintain client records
  • Maintain all confidential information
  • Complete all paperwork in required timeframes
  • Submit accurate invoices timely
